To help with the itching, you can try adding some colloidal oatmeal powder to their bath. It has been found to help reduce the itching and soothe the skin.
Another good ingredient in the bath is baking soda. It has similar properties to oatmeal and is often readily available in most houses.
You should add half a cup to a shallow bath, or a full cup to a deep bath. Doing this once a day will help to soothe the skin and stop the itching.
